Terms of Service

The agreement for using Convwatch, the conversion upload monitor.

Terms · Privacy · Refunds · Pricing

1. Who we are

Convwatch ("Convwatch", "we", "us") is operated by Viktor Shataev, an individual entrepreneur registered in Georgia. These terms are an agreement between us and the business or person that signs up for or uses Convwatch ("you"). By creating an account, installing the SDK or paying for a plan, you accept them.

2. The service

Convwatch monitors conversion uploads that your systems send to advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Meta and Microsoft Advertising. It has two parts:

  • The SDK, which runs in your own infrastructure next to your upload code and sends us metadata about each upload (counts, platform error codes, account, conversion action and request identifiers).
  • The hosted service, which stores that metadata, evaluates it and sends alerts to the destinations you configure, such as a Slack channel.

Convwatch does not upload conversions for you and does not change anything in your advertising accounts.

3. Your account

You must give accurate contact details and keep your API keys secret. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the people you give access to. Tell us promptly at hello@convwatch.com if you think a key has leaked; we will rotate it.

4. What you send us

The SDK is designed to send metadata only. You agree not to send us personal data of your users or customers through the service, including click identifiers (GCLID, GBRAID, WBRAID, FBCLID, MSCLKID), email addresses, phone numbers, names, postal addresses or IP addresses, hashed or not. The service rejects reports that appear to contain such data. If you send it anyway, you are responsible for it and we may delete it without notice.

Your advertising-platform credentials stay in your infrastructure. We never ask for them and you must not send them to us.

5. Plans, trial and limits

Plans and their limits are described on the pricing section of convwatch.com. A new account starts with a 14-day trial of the Team plan and then moves to the Free plan unless you subscribe. When usage exceeds a plan's limits, data over the limit is still recorded but may not be monitored, and the service tells you so. We may change plans and prices for the future; changes to a paid plan you already hold take effect at your next renewal, and we will tell you at least 30 days in advance.

6. Payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Prices are shown before tax; Paddle adds sales tax or VAT where required.

You can cancel at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt or by writing to us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, after which your account moves to the Free plan. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

7. Acceptable use

You must not use Convwatch to break the law or the terms of an advertising platform, to send us data you have no right to share, to probe, overload or reverse-engineer the hosted service, or to resell it without our written consent.

8. Availability and alerts

We aim to keep the service available and to deliver alerts promptly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or that every failure in your uploads will be detected or reported. Advertising platforms change their APIs and diagnostics without notice, and some failures are not visible to any monitoring tool. Convwatch helps you notice problems; it does not replace your own checks of your advertising accounts.

9. Intellectual property

We own the service and the SDK, except for open-source components, which stay under their own licences. You own the data you send us. You give us permission to store and process it only to run, secure and improve the service, and to produce anonymised, aggregated statistics that do not identify you.

10. Liability

To the extent the law allows, the service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost revenue, wasted advertising spend or loss of data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Convwatch and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, with notice where reasonable. After an account is closed we delete its data within 30 days, except where the law requires us to keep it.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in the service at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use Convwatch after that means you accept the new terms.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Georgia. If you use Convwatch as a consumer, you also keep the protections of the law of the country you live in.
